Happy Mother's Day

I hope all you mummies out there are haveing a nice restful day.I feel a bit guilty as to how little I have done today.Had a nice lie- in with some favourite mags and then a lovely walk with my Mum and Dan.Then lunch with John and I am enjoying my youngest son's lovely flowers and all the chores having been done by James my eldest.Judging by the number of people who came into the shop to buy cards yesterday who were also carrying beautiful bouquets, there are a lot of much loved Mums around.
This picture by Anita Jeram always reminds me of my son Harry. It's from my favourite picture book by Sam McBratney Guess how much I love you?.Harry always used to say' I love you to the moon and back and more, Mummy' when he was a little boy. He's gone skiing so he's not around today to be embarassed by such revelations. It's probably just as well I have an excuse to do very little as I am not feeling very productive at all. I hope that will change with the lighter evenings which are just around the corner.I think all the stuff at work has been so soul destroying and prolonged that I feel as if I'm suffering from post traumatic stress syndrome and feel quite bone weary maybe it's an age thing too.
Have a great week wherever you are.

Glad you have had a relaxing mothers day. Thanksfor stocking 'Mollie Makes' in the shop, I was struggling to find this issue and got it in your shop on Friday :)

Just wondered if you saw the rather lovely cross stitch pattern in last months Cross Stitcher of Guess how much I love you. I'm going to stitch it for a new baby.

Hope you enjoyed your day as much as I did mine!
